An area in the centre of Storuman municipality in Southern Lapland welcomes you!
The Umeälven river and the E12 Blue Road wind through the area like two important lifelines through the landscape. There are small idyllic villages scattered in the forest landscape just below the edge of the mountains, where people are still working to develop the area so that they can live and work into the future.
The village’s history bears the marks of both the Sami and settlers in the landscape. We want to share our genuine natural and cultural values and also offer new activities and experiences.
